Would you make time to go and see your kids acting the same way that you would make time to go and watch their baseball game? Do you see your kids acting out at home and at school and wonder what you can do about it?
If you do have kids acting up and you'd prefer not to have to end up sending them to boot camp, you may have more choices than you think. Wouldn't it be rewarding to see your kids acting in a play on stage at school, or later on in a multi-million dollar movie? (one with redeeming artistic merits, of course). Kids acting is a good thing when it is part of an extracurricular activity that they can enjoy and learn valuable skills from.
So maybe you're not the most kids acting gung ho parent in the world, and might prefer the sound of a wooden bat connecting solidly with a baseball over the thought of seeing one of your kids acting out a David Mamet play, but consider this, even you have a favorite actor. By being a parent who supports his kids acting and performing in school and community plays, you are giving them a chance to one day be somebody else's favorite actor.
